Who we are.

My name is Krista, and I have a knitting problem. Not that I am complaining! I have been knitting for 20+ years and I still find it fascinating to this day. It amazes me to think that I could take this single strand of yarn and by simply looping to around two needles or a hook (I crochet as well!), I can create a garment. More than that though, the process itself is simply put, therapeutic. When I knit, I am forced to focus on what my hands are doing. There is no room in my head for the worries or the stress I might otherwise be feeling. So when I need that mental break, I turn to my wool and needles.

Properly practiced, knitting soothes the troubled spirit, and it doesn’t hurt the untroubled spirit either.

What we do.

I dye yarn in small batches so you know that each skein has been given the same amount of care and attention that it would get when you pick it up at store to consider it. If you are committing to knitting a project, you need to love the yarn you are working with. So, I hope my colors inspire you and make you excited to cast on that project. I love the bright, fun and bold brights. I also love a calm, soothing and saturated neutral. So please browse around and thank you for reading my story!
